Terms of Service

This page details the terms of service regarding the purchase of designs and MYO slots from the Edanverse team as well as general guidelines to follow when interacting within the Edanverse community.

General Rules

• Be respectful to moderators and other community members. Moderators will have final say in all conflicts, please be respectful of this.
• Harassment of any kind won't be tolerated. This includes hate speech, homophobia, racism, etc.
• Keep in mind that the Edanverse community was created for community storytelling - any and all levels of experience in creating art and/or writing are welcome.
• All artists and creators must be given credit when posting content created by them.
• This is a PG16 community; users must be 16+ to engage in the community.
  • Certain parts of the community may be limited to 18+; please make sure all content is only shared in the appropriate channels.

Buying, Reselling, & Trading

• All sales are final and non-refundable with a few exceptions.
  • Purchased MYO slots may be refunded in Qip, our in-game currency.
  • All adopts sold by guest artists will follow terms set by said artists.
• Characters can only be resold at their valued price. If reselling a character with substantial amounts of art, please make sure that all art is logged.
  • The character's valued price is equivalent to their purchase price plus any purchased art/writing plus any equipped traits or objects. Make sure to unequip any objects you do not wish to include in the sale.
• Trading is allowed, but will be performed at the discretion of those within the community.

Make Your Own

A character can be submitted using our character submission form anytime. Once a character has been created, their page will be visible immediately. However, a character must be verified before you gain access to certain features such as trading, linking, equipping objects, etc.

• MYO slots can be used to create one of any of the six species.
• In order for a MYO design to be approved, the following conditions must be met:
  • A full-body reference image must be provided. Suggested dimensions are XX by XX.
  • All traits associated with the character must be selected in the character submission form.
  • The reference image must include all traits attached to the character.
• MYOs are manually approved by the moderator team. Please allow some time for your verification to go through.

De-speciesing

If you wish to de-species a character, please make sure to remove all traits that would link your character back to this ARPG.

Penalties

For small rule-breaks, we have a three strikes system. For particularly large breaches in user conduct, a user may be instantly blacklisted. Moderators will have full discretion in deciding these cases.

Terms and conditions are subject to change. Members will be notified through in-site notifications should a change be made.
