Some people might say you're lucky to be born into a wealthy family. But if anybody had told Solene something like that, they would have been punched in the face on the spot. Nothing personal — it just doesn't sound nice when you remember that your first year of life ended up with you being kidnapped and thrown into a river on the other side of the world. That's how life works — the more vulnerable you are, the easier it is to use you as a weak spot to hurt your family.

But Solene still was a lucky one, just in another way. She doesn't remember much but has a few glimpses of memories. It was a sylph that found her and brought her back to Kumo. Thanks to him, Solene was able to grow up, make friends and attend one of the best Rhoan schools.

That's something Solene was thinking about a lot. The more she grew, the more she realized how difficult it was for that sylph to bring her back. She might have had a complex personality, but also a strong sense of fairness telling her that she needed to thank her savior at the very least. And that's what Solene was going to do. When summer holidays kicked in she left Kumo for a trip to find that sylph. Although, the only person she found by now was a strange poor meeran roaming the abandoned Dvar.

• Solene is not the only child, but she is the youngest. She has a brother, Marteille, who is five years older than her.
•  Solene is fond of Aten fashion and often wears clothes that are common in that region.
•  Solene wears makeup, but only eye shadows, because she briefly remembers her savior having similar makeup.
