Aris was born in a middle-class family in Aten. He was mute since birth, which led to some problems in communication with people around. Though he wasn't able to speak, reading and writing were his strong sides; Aris was often seen with a book in his hands, and almost each time it was a new one. Not only that Aris valued books deeply and always kept them in a good state, he was also very attentive and thoughtful. He could find what he was looking for in a few seconds, since he enjoyed keeping everything in order. All from above made him think a librarian position might suit him well. After all, what can be better than being surrounded by books in a relieving silence?

Aris started from working as a librarian in a local school in Aten, but experienced some difficulties while communicating with students and other school workers. Later he has succesfully applied for the position of a school librarian in one of the schools on Rho, where due to the school's status everyone was required to know sign language. It has made Aris' life a lot easier, although there still were some stubborn kids who were misunderstanding him intentionally. But he was happy with everything for the most part.

• Aris is partially mute. He can't speak but he is still able to generate some simple sounds like a quiet "hm".
•  Despite his quiet personality Aris is a pretty confident person. He will stand up for himself if needed.
